Beautiful afternoon at the park with Dada!

When I picked up Sydney today at daycare, it was the perfect time of her daily routine.

She had just ate and wouldn't be ready for a nap for awhile. So instead of going home to

play and it being such a beautiful day outside, we went to the park for a little while.

Sydney loves the outdoors, so she was just as happy to be outside as I was spending

time with my little angel. I am truly blessed to have my two girls (Sydney and Nancy) that I

love and cherish so much in my life. There is nothing better to me than spending time

with my girls!

Life is good and God is great!

My angel!

Sydney heard a bird in the tree above her. Praise God, that after only
four days with tubes in her ears she seems to already hear better!

Sydney loves to swing and slide!

She started to get a little fussy when I stopped to take her out
of the swing. Eventhrough I put sunscreen on her face and arms, I didn't wan't
to keep her in the bright sun too long.

More pictures at the park with Dada!

Ready for the slide!

Sydney is not sure about the vollyball sand.

About to get a handfull of sand, good thing we
have hand sanitizer in her bag.

11 month bunny pictures

Next month is the BIG milestone of Sydney being one year old. It is mindblowing of how much she has learned to do in the short 11 months she has been with us. Anyday now she will be standing all by herself for longer than the couple of seconds she is doing now. She is hardly ever still, she even moves alot when she sleeps.

Cousin Makinley's 3rd birthday party

We had such a fantastic time at Sandy Springs park for cousins Makinley's 3rd birthday party. The day was perfect, sunny and not a cloud in the sky. Sydney enjoyed exploring the wood chips, the swings, the slide, playing in the grass, drinking a little bit of a capri sun, and all the birthday activities. Makinley had a wonderful cake made by Aunt Pamela. Makinley requested a rainbow butterfly cake. It had 5 layers. It was sooo yummy; Sydney even had a couple small bites.

10 month bunny pictures

Here are the 10 month old bunny pictures. She has accomplished a lot this month. She has two teeth and is working on more. She started waving using her hand instead of waving her whole arm. She started dancing to music; especially when she pulls herself up to her activity center. Sitting still is not one of her favorite activities. When she wants to she can stand all by herself after we steady her on her feet for a couple of seconds.

Double oo's and checkups

We went to the zoo Sunday with Aunt Pamela, Uncle Todd, cousins Katelyn and Makinley, and Nana. It was such a gorgeous day. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. The children really enjoyed looking at all the animals. Katelyn and Makinley enjoyed helping Uncle Larry push Sydney in her stroller. After seeing all the animals we went to Little Italy to eat. Yummy-yummy.
Monday we went to the doctor for her 9 month checkup. She weighed in at 15 lbs and 2.4 ounces and was 26 inches long. She is in the 3rd% for weight and 7th% for height. The doctor said she is right on track. Sydney tried table food for the 1st time Friday night. She had crackers; then on Sunday night she had some bread. Monday we tried yogurt. I was afraid of the yogurt not knowing about allergies. Sydney's birth mom is allergic to milk; but so far she has no side effects from the yogurt.
Tuesday was the day we found and saw Sydney's 1st tooth. It is on the bottom on the right. Sorry no pictures yet of the tooth. Hopefully it will not take as long to get more teeth.

Fingerpainting and more...

One night last week Sydney was playing with the food that dropped on her tray with her fingers. I knew we had some fingerpaint in a closet so after she ate we taped some paper on her highchair tray and off she went. She loved feeling the paint with her fingers and watching the paint smear on the paper. Only one time right before we cleaned her up did she try to put her fingers in her mouth. I thought that would be the first thing she did after her fingers touched the paint. Also are some pictures of her playing with some pots and pans. Larry was putting dishes in the dishwasher one night and Sydney thought she would help. She pulled herself up to the dishwasher all by herself.
